I will be doing this 10K on December 3rd. I have been doing a little training, but not hardly enough. I did my first race (a 5k) a couple of months ago and almost died, but I felt good afterwards. Amber (housemate) is doing the Jingle Bell Jog on the 3rd and invited me along. At first I was like “heck no” but then I asked myself “Why not?”. I am scared. Scared of failing and not being good enough and of dying at the finish line, but I can do this and I WILL do this. First a 5K (check), a 10K, then and half marathon in March. Lets do it.
